I’ve learned new useful things because of this company visit, I am aware that In a team there’s a different roles and responsibilities but because of this company visit it helps me understand more what their roles are. Their company focuses on game development.

Their company consist of a Subic IT Team which consists of a Supervisor Operations, Senior Applications Developers, Developers, UI/UX Designer, QA Engineers and Business Analyst, which in total is 13 people. They mentioned the team member responsible for that job and what is his/her role and responsibilities. For example Mr. Ammiel is a full stack developer and he focuses on full stack development and transformation projects. While Mr. Julius who is a senior application developer just like Mr. Ammiel but he focuses on handling development for Flutter, but also knowledgeable in IOS, and Android platforms.

Then they proceed with the IT workflow, they said that IT workflow are the step-by-step processes that guide teams in completing tasks effectively. There are types of IT Workflow based on them. There’s the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) then the Incident Management Workflow, then IT Support Workflow, and lastly the Change Management Workflow.

Then they mentioned some IT Trends such as the AI and machine learning, Cloud Computing , Cybersecurity and Remote Work Tools. Right after that Mr. Ammiel also gave us some real life scenarios concerning the said topics. Then they given us some takeaways as well, just the Core lessons from today, advice for aspiring IT professionals and the next steps for students.

  I’ve learned new useful things because of this webinar, I already have a background about cloud but with azure it is a new knowledge for me. With this it helps me understand another cloud computing platform that might be helpful for me in the future.  First thing she did is she explained and show us what is the meaning of cloud computing, she mentioned that cloud computing is the delivery of computing services over the internet. Then after that she mentioned the types of cloud computing, those are the private, public and hybrid. She also mentioned to us the comparison of the three cloud. Then next she introduce us to CapEx and OpEx.  CapEx means Capital Expenditure which is about spending of money on a physical infrastructure while OpEx or Operational Expenditure is about spending on products and services as needed.

  I’ve learned several helpful insights from this seminar, even though I already had some prior experience using Laravel and a general understanding of its MVC architecture. The session served as a valuable refresher on the framework’s core concepts and helped strengthen my grasp of best practices when working with Laravel.
