I’ve learned a lot of valuable and practical things because of the Tech Fest 2025. It helped me understand more about how large events are organized, and gave me deeper insight into how important collaboration and communication are, especially in the field of IT. I already had some experience with organizing small events, but this experience introduced me to more detailed tasks and responsibilities that I can apply in the future. It inspired me to improve not only my technical knowledge, but also my organizational and soft skills, which are equally important as an IT student and for my future career in the tech industry.

During the event, we helped manage materials, set up booths, and assisted with transitions between program segments. These tasks taught me how much planning and teamwork is required to make an event successful. It also showed me the value of having clear communication among team members and stakeholders to make sure everything runs smoothly.

I also attended the seminars that were part of the event, and they really broadened my perspective on current trends and topics in the IT world. One of the sessions was “Cybersecurity 101,” which emphasized the importance of digital safety in today’s connected world. It made me realize how vital it is to protect our data and online activities.

Another session that caught my attention was about Artificial Intelligence and its growing impact on students. It opened my eyes to how technology is shaping education, careers, and even our daily lives. The speakers shared real-life examples and experiences that made the sessions more engaging and relatable. Learning directly from industry professionals gave me a better grasp of current trends and the career opportunities available in tech today.

  I’ve learned new useful things because of this webinar, I already have a background about cloud but with azure it is a new knowledge for me. With this it helps me understand another cloud computing platform that might be helpful for me in the future.  First thing she did is she explained and show us what is the meaning of cloud computing, she mentioned that cloud computing is the delivery of computing services over the internet. Then after that she mentioned the types of cloud computing, those are the private, public and hybrid. She also mentioned to us the comparison of the three cloud. Then next she introduce us to CapEx and OpEx.  CapEx means Capital Expenditure which is about spending of money on a physical infrastructure while OpEx or Operational Expenditure is about spending on products and services as needed.

  I’ve learned several helpful insights from this seminar, even though I already had some prior experience using Laravel and a general understanding of its MVC architecture. The session served as a valuable refresher on the framework’s core concepts and helped strengthen my grasp of best practices when working with Laravel. The discussion revisited familiar elements like routing, controllers, models, and views, but what stood out to me was the practical emphasis on Laravel’s built-in tools, especially Artisan commands. Learning how to efficiently generate controllers, models, and migrations through Artisan not only saves time but also reinforces the importance of maintaining structured and scalable code. The speaker, Mr. Raymond Paul Vianzon, delivered his topic, “Getting Started with Laravel: A Beginner’s Guide,” in a way that was both clear and engaging.
