 I've learned new useful things because of this seminar, since I am a future IT professional with this seminar, it helps me learn what are the things I have to do, like after graduation how can I shift from studying to a real world stuff. I learned some useful tips on what to do because of the panel discussions. 



The program starts with an opening remarks given by Engr. Reynaldo T. Sy he was a regional director of the DICT CAR, then followed with an message of support by Hon. Marquex Go. Then a cultural dance given by the Baguio City High School students. Then the Panel Discussion  started with Ms. Angel Dastjerdi as the moderator, the panels for that session are Mr. Victor San Pascual, together with Mr. Mark Allen Rabago, Dr. Jeffrey S. Ingosan, Dr. Ariel Nimo B. Pumecha, Dr. Ellen M. Halover, Ms. Frevy Orencia, Mr. Dan Brian Arenas and Mr. Joshua De Leon. The discussion is about the talent development and digital workforce competence for the ICT Industry.  


The second panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Batchie De Leon, the panels for that session are Atty. Julienne Fortunato – Lobchoy, together with DIR. Juliet P. Lucas, Mr. Rene Benedicto V. Misa, Mr. Michael A. Catan, Mr. Jedrek T. Estanislao, Atty. Abdullah Adel-Khan P. Alug. The discussion is about the Strengthening Business Environment: ICT Leaders at the Forefront. Then the last panel of discussion is moderated by  Atty. Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, the panels for that session are Mr. Francis Camarao, Hon. Darwin C. Estranero, Ms. Aurora Amilig, Ms. Maggie Po, Mr. Chris Rafols and Mr. Ace Estrada II the topic is about the Synergy for Success – Collaborative Initiatives by Leader and Foundation in the ICT Industry.

Introduction to Azure Fundamentals

  I’ve learned new useful things because of this webinar, I already have a background about cloud but with azure it is a new knowledge for me. With this it helps me understand another cloud computing platform that might be helpful for me in the future.  First thing she did is she explained and show us what is the meaning of cloud computing, she mentioned that cloud computing is the delivery of computing services over the internet. Then after that she mentioned the types of cloud computing, those are the private, public and hybrid. She also mentioned to us the comparison of the three cloud. Then next she introduce us to CapEx and OpEx.  CapEx means Capital Expenditure which is about spending of money on a physical infrastructure while OpEx or Operational Expenditure is about spending on products and services as needed.

  I’ve learned several helpful insights from this seminar, even though I already had some prior experience using Laravel and a general understanding of its MVC architecture. The session served as a valuable refresher on the framework’s core concepts and helped strengthen my grasp of best practices when working with Laravel. The discussion revisited familiar elements like routing, controllers, models, and views, but what stood out to me was the practical emphasis on Laravel’s built-in tools, especially Artisan commands. Learning how to efficiently generate controllers, models, and migrations through Artisan not only saves time but also reinforces the importance of maintaining structured and scalable code.
