Customized Logo using Adobe Illustrator

I learned a lot of useful tips during this webinar. I’ve been creating logos using Canva, which has been my main platform for designing. However, this webinar made me realize that Adobe Illustrator might be a better option for creating logos, vectors, and other designs. It’s easier to edit and customize logos using Adobe Illustrator, and I feel it will allow me to be more creative compared to my previous methods.

The resource speaker started by sharing examples of logo generators we can use, like Namelix, Tailor Brands, Shopify, Canva, and Adobe Express. She emphasized the importance of customizing generated logos to make them unique and to address legal considerations. Then, she introduced Adobe Illustrator and explained that it’s a vector-based graphics editor ideal for creating and editing illustrations, logos, typography, and more.

The most exciting part was the demo on customizing AI-generated logos in Adobe Illustrator. She showed us how to start by gathering relevant keywords, like "coffee" or "young professional," to guide the logo's concept. Then, she demonstrated how to add layers for different elements, making it easier to edit or change colors later if needed. She even taught us how to add effects, like making designs appear dynamic or in motion. Overall, the session was really insightful and I’m excited to explore Adobe Illustrator more in the future.
