    My experience in "Code x Creativity: Front-End Web Dev Essentials for Creatives" was great and I can say that everything that I've learned from Mr. Bryan will be helpful for me. The webinar was organized by the BSCS 4A student of College of Information and Communications Technology at West Visayas State University on September 27, 2024 at 10:00 am via Microsoft Team. Mr. Bryan Abesamis as the resource speaker, he was a Front-end Engineer at RareCircles Inc.



        The topic started when the resource speaker he teaches us what is creativity in coding then he had given some websites that will help us on finding an inspiration on designing a system. ( Behance and Dribble ). Next he mentioned as well to how to get started/ how to start on working on a system. He have mentioned tools such as a code editor like the visual studio editor then he have explained the fundamentals needed such as the html, css and js. 


He also mentioned some tips for if we will be working as a solo dev or a team dev. Tools for a solo dev are: To learn typescript, tailwind css, component library ( Material UI, Mantime), to learn animations/ interactivity (three.js, rive), as well as to have a content management and a user analytics even he monetization and optimizations of the system. As for the team dev he mentioned tools that will allow the teammates to collaborate such as the GitHub for the collaborations of the codes, project management tools, he also mentioned communication is very important and the tool that will make sure the password and important things on the system to be stored such as the 1password and Bitwarden.

Introduction to Azure Fundamentals

  I’ve learned new useful things because of this webinar, I already have a background about cloud but with azure it is a new knowledge for me. With this it helps me understand another cloud computing platform that might be helpful for me in the future.  First thing she did is she explained and show us what is the meaning of cloud computing, she mentioned that cloud computing is the delivery of computing services over the internet. Then after that she mentioned the types of cloud computing, those are the private, public and hybrid. She also mentioned to us the comparison of the three cloud. Then next she introduce us to CapEx and OpEx.  CapEx means Capital Expenditure which is about spending of money on a physical infrastructure while OpEx or Operational Expenditure is about spending on products and services as needed.

  I’ve learned several helpful insights from this seminar, even though I already had some prior experience using Laravel and a general understanding of its MVC architecture. The session served as a valuable refresher on the framework’s core concepts and helped strengthen my grasp of best practices when working with Laravel. The discussion revisited familiar elements like routing, controllers, models, and views, but what stood out to me was the practical emphasis on Laravel’s built-in tools, especially Artisan commands.
